Rosters

Currently for the 2012/2013 playing season the Ontario Prospects will field teams for 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U age levels. Our program focus is player development and as such our rosters are designed with this in mind. We want to be sure that every player selected to an Ontario Prospects team has the opportunity to play and develop. Unlike some other alternative travel programs we limit the number of roster positions available to ensure every player is able to get a maximum number of at bats, innings played and pitched over the season.  Director of Player Development, Rich Butler, suggests “Practice and training are vital to the overall player development but ultimately you need game time in order to maximize your potential. Players on our 18U teams will play nearly 100 games over the season and get 150 + at  bats....now that is how you develop as a player!!!"
